Estonia’s e-Business Register

The Centre of Registers and Information Systems operates Estonia’s e-Business Register. The portal provides legal-entity information and supports registration and annual-report submissions. Use the registered entity record to connect the company’s formal identity with the name it uses in commercial correspondence.

Compare annual reports by year

When an Estonian annual report is available, note the period covered and whether a later filing or amendment exists. Compare the company identity with the report subject before using its figures. A recently accessed annual report can still describe an earlier year; access date and financial period answer different questions.

A digital service still has a contracting entity

For software or other services purchased from an Estonian business, keep the legal name on the agreement alongside the product name. Include the registry code even if all communication takes place online. If billing moves to another group company, clarify which entity requires the credit check.

What can the report include?

Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.

What should I send if I know only an Estonian product name?

Include the product website and ask the supplier for its registered company name, registry code, and address. Those details allow the request to focus on the legal business behind the product.
