Belgium business credit reports
Research a Belgian business before extending a trading relationship. Use its enterprise number to keep company information consistent across Dutch, French, or other names in your paperwork.
Information to prepare for your Belgium company check
- Registered name and enterprise number
- Registered address and any separate establishment number
- The Dutch or French legal form shown on the company’s documents
Include the identifiers you have. If the legal entity is uncertain, ask our team before ordering. Do not substitute your billing details for the subject company’s details.
Enterprise and establishment records
Belgium’s Crossroads Bank for Enterprises provides Public Search for registered entities and establishment units. A company and a particular operating location can therefore appear with different identifiers. Preserve the enterprise number when requesting a report and label any establishment reference separately.

Annual accounts at the National Bank
The National Bank of Belgium’s Central Balance Sheet Office collects accounts from most Belgian companies and organizations and makes filed data available for consultation. The filing obligation is not universal across all business forms. Check the available accounting model and period before assuming a report contains detailed turnover, ownership, or group financial figures.

Reconcile multilingual commercial documents
A supplier may see a French name on a contract and a Dutch version in correspondence. Give the investigator both versions and the enterprise number rather than submitting two apparently unrelated requests. If an establishment belongs to a wider Belgian company, specify which entity is buying from you.
What can the report include?
Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.

Is a Belgian establishment number interchangeable with an enterprise number?
Keep the two labeled separately. An establishment identifies an operating unit; the enterprise identity is needed to define the company being researched. Send both if your paperwork contains them.
