Information to prepare for your Slovakia company check

• Registered Slovak name and legal form
• IČO identification number
• Registered office and commercial-register reference, if available

Include the identifiers you have. If the legal entity is uncertain, ask our team before ordering. Do not substitute your billing details for the subject company’s details.

Search Slovakia’s Commercial Register

Slovakia’s online Commercial Register provides an identification-number search and separate options for business name, registered seat, registration reference, and people. The IČO search can also be narrowed by court. Keep the IČO and any court or registration reference labeled separately in your request.

Match the Slovak legal name

Retain accents and the legal form shown on the company’s documents. If a sales representative provides an abbreviated English name, request the full Slovak version and IČO. A precise match is particularly useful when a group has several similarly named manufacturing, sales, or property companies.

Explain a separate production address

A supplier may manufacture goods at a site different from its registered office. Provide both addresses with their roles clearly marked, but identify the company that signs your purchase agreement. When financial information is available, check that it describes that entity and the period relevant to your review.

What can the report include?

Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.

Is an IČO the same as a court-register reference?

The official search treats the identification number and registration reference as separate search options. Keep each label with its value, and send both when your Slovak counterparty provides them.
