Turkey business credit reports

Check a Turkish manufacturer, trading company, or customer before committing to an overseas transaction. Keep the registered Turkish name with your request, including the legal form, so the report concerns the business on your agreement.

Information to prepare for your Turkey company check

  • Registered Turkish name, retaining characters and legal suffix
  • MERSIS number or trade registry reference, if available
  • Registered address, city, and the relevant chamber or registry office

Include the identifiers you have. If the legal entity is uncertain, ask our team before ordering. Do not substitute your billing details for the subject company’s details.

MERSIS and trade registry records

Turkey’s Ministry of Trade operates MERSIS, the Central Registry Record System, for electronic trade registry processes. Its portal also links to the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette. Registration references and corporate announcements can help resolve a change of name or distinguish companies using similar brands. Keep the original registry reference alongside any translated document.

Check the scope of the available documents

A registry entry or corporate announcement is not a set of current financial statements. When ordering a Turkish company report, specify any required accounts, directors, or ownership information. Check which documents were obtained and their dates; do not infer current sales, cash resources, or payment performance from a registered capital figure.

Research the exporter named on the invoice

For a buyer sourcing machinery or textiles, the factory brand and the exporting company may appear differently on the quotation. Provide both names and identify the party receiving your payment. If a separate company operates production, explain whether your review needs that entity investigated too.

What can the report include?

Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.

Should I select Turkey when paperwork says Türkiye?

Use the country entry shown in the order form and provide the original company documents. Turkey and Türkiye refer to the same country; the registered business name, address, and registry identifier are what distinguish the report subject.
