The Brønnøysund Register Centre provides searches for organizations and official announcements using an organization number or name. Its services also distinguish different types of organization. Preserve the legal form from your documents, particularly when a Norwegian operation belongs to an overseas business.

Registration and annual accounts

The register centre provides annual-account services as well as company registration information. For the delivered credit report, check which accounting documents were available and whether the figures describe the Norwegian business or a parent. A registration search alone does not establish current liquidity, full ownership, or payment reliability.

Identify the buyer on a project contract

A equipment supplier may deal with a Norwegian project operator, contractor, and purchasing company in the same transaction. Name the entity that is actually ordering and paying. Include related organization numbers as context, and request separate research where more than one contractual counterparty matters.

What can the report include?

Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.

Can the report use the Norwegian organization number instead of a translated name?

Include both the organization number and the original registered name. Together they help distinguish similarly named businesses and connect your contract to the company being researched.
