Croatia business credit reports
Research a Croatian business with its registered identity clearly defined. Include the identifiers from its company paperwork when comparing credit report options for a customer, distributor, or supplier.
Information to prepare for your Croatia company check
- Full registered name and legal form
- MBS court-register number and OIB, labeled separately when supplied
- Registered address and registration court, if known
Include the identifiers you have. If the legal entity is uncertain, ask our team before ordering. Do not substitute your billing details for the subject company’s details.
MBS and OIB in Croatia’s Court Register
The Croatian Court Register search provides separate fields for MBS and OIB, alongside name, legal form, status, and court filters. Keep each reference under its original label. Copying a tax identifier into an unrelated register-number field can make a valid company harder to locate.

A trading location may use a shorter name
For a Croatian distributor with several stores or depots, send the legal name from the agreement as well as the site you deal with. Retain Croatian characters in the name and address. Explain whether your enquiry concerns the registered company or a separately incorporated related business.
Use registry status with the report’s dates
Record when you checked the Croatian registration and compare that with the date of the credit report. A status match helps establish identity, but your purchase decision may also require available payment information or accounts. Ask about a required financial period before selecting a report type.
What can the report include?
Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.

Should I provide the MBS or the OIB?
Provide both if your counterparty supplies them, retaining their labels. Add the registered name and address so the identifiers can be matched to the business on your commercial documents.
