For US businesses trading worldwide
Mexico business credit reports
Check the Mexican business behind a purchase order, supply agreement, or distribution relationship. A company credit report brings available business information together for your review, with country-specific pricing shown in US dollars.
Information to prepare for your Mexico company check
- Full registered company name, retaining its legal suffix
- Registered address, city, and state
- RFC tax identifier or commercial registration details, if provided by the company
Include the identifiers you have. If the legal entity is uncertain, ask our team before ordering. Do not substitute your US billing details for the subject company’s details.
Mexico’s commercial register
The Registro Público de Comercio uses SIGER for commercial registration information. The national platform includes records relating to company formation and corporate changes, such as mergers, dissolution, and liquidation. These records help establish the identity and corporate history of the business being researched.

Preserve the registered Spanish name
Send the name shown on the Mexican company’s documents, including the legal suffix, rather than only an English translation or brand. Add the city, state, and any registration or tax identifier the company supplies. This gives the investigator more than a common trading name to work with.
Separate the factory, seller, and billing entity
A US buyer may speak to a factory while signing with a different sales company. A US exporter may invoice a distributor rather than the end customer. Specify the business that is actually party to your transaction. If more than one legal entity matters, ask about researching them separately.
What can the report include?
Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.

Is a Mexican registry record the same as a credit report?
A commercial registry record concerns the registered business and its corporate acts. A business credit report can add available financial, payment, and credit assessment information. Contents depend on the company and selected report type.
