Information to prepare for your Nepal company check

• Full registered company name and any Nepali version supplied
• Company registration number and PAN, labeled separately when available
• Registered address and the operating location involved in your enquiry

Include the identifiers you have. If the legal entity is uncertain, ask our team before ordering. Do not substitute your billing details for the subject company’s details.

The Company Registrar’s public data portal provides a search using a registration number or Permanent Account Number, with a verification step. Keep the two identifiers separately labeled in your request. An inability to complete a portal search does not establish whether a company is registered.

A registration number can resolve name differences

Ask your Nepalese counterparty for the number from its registration certificate, retaining any accompanying name in Nepali. Include its English name and address too. If a brand covers several services or locations, identify the company that is responsible under the agreement you are reviewing.

Clarify dates on the documents you receive

Send a complete copy or reference when an unfamiliar date format appears on company paperwork. Avoid silently translating a date or treating the document issue date as the financial period. Explain any requirement for particular accounts or ownership information before ordering a report on the Nepalese entity.

What can the report include?

Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.

Can a PAN help identify a company in Nepal?

The official public portal offers registration-number or PAN searches. Include the PAN with its label, alongside the registered name, address, and company registration number if you have it.
