Information to prepare for your Jordan company check

• Registered Arabic company name and English trading name
• Company number and type, or national enterprise number if supplied
• Registered address and contact details for the intended entity

Jordan’s Companies Control Department enquiries

The Companies Control Department lists searches by company name, company number and type, and national enterprise number. It also provides separate trade-name and partner-related enquiries. Keep the identifier and its label together rather than treating every number or name search as equivalent.

Retain the company type with the number

If a Jordanian counterparty sends a registration extract, copy the company type as well as the number and name. Include the original Arabic document alongside any English version you have. That combination can help resolve a common name or a translation that differs from the official spelling.

A partner search does not define the report subject

A name associated with several Jordanian businesses may help explain a commercial relationship, but each company can still be a different subject for research. Identify the entity on your agreement and specify any ownership connection you need examined. Ask about available financial periods before ordering if accounts are central to your review.

What can the report include?

Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.
