Lebanon business credit reports

Research a Lebanese business using its registered legal identity and commercial-register documents. Clarify the company behind an Arabic, French, or English trading name before ordering a business credit report.

Information to prepare for your Lebanon company check

  • Registered company or commercial-establishment name and legal form
  • Commercial register number and the registry location shown on the document
  • Registered address and any Arabic, French, or English name versions supplied

Include the identifiers you have. If the legal entity is uncertain, ask our team before ordering. Do not substitute your billing details for the subject company’s details.

Lebanese commercial establishments and their records

Lebanon’s Ministry of Justice describes a commercial-establishment register attached to the commercial register at the relevant first-instance court. Its guidance separates procedures for establishing, changing, transferring, or removing an establishment’s record. Retain the registry location and document type rather than sending an unexplained reference number.

Identify the entity behind a multilingual name

Send the original registered name alongside the French or English version used by your contact. Include the legal form and address from the contract. If paperwork refers to an establishment while the agreement names a company, explain that distinction so the intended subject can be clarified before research begins.

Check the dates and currency of available information

For a Lebanese company review, state any financial period or document you specifically need. When a report is delivered, read currency labels and source dates before comparing figures from different documents. The availability of current accounts or other information should be discussed for the particular company rather than assumed from registration alone.

What can the report include?

Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.

What if a Lebanese trade name and the contract name differ?

Provide both names, the commercial-register details, and the document showing each one. Identify who signs or invoices under the agreement and ask the team to clarify the legal subject before ordering.
