Information to prepare for your Tanzania company check

• Registration number and issuing authority shown on the document
• Registered address and the location where the business operates

Tanzania’s Business Registrations and Licensing Agency provides a digital platform for business registration, company management, filing returns, and search and information services. Identify which record or service your document comes from rather than assuming that a license, filing receipt, and registration record contain the same information.

Keep the issuing authority on the paperwork

Send the full registration document or reference, including its issuing authority and business form. Label a trading license separately if one is supplied. If your Tanzanian counterparty’s operating address differs from its registration address, include both and explain which location appears on the contract or invoice.

Choose the entity behind a supply route

For goods arranged through a Tanzanian distributor or intermediary, establish which business sells to you and which company produces or transports the goods. Tell the team whether the report should concern the seller or another participant. Ask about any required financial information before ordering the selected country option.

What can the report include?

Depending on the company and available sources, a report may cover registration, ownership, financial statements, payment information, public records, and a credit assessment. Information is not equally available in every market. Check the company identity, source dates, and qualifications in the delivered report.

Should I send a Tanzanian trading license with the report request?

Include it as supporting context, clearly labeled, along with the registered legal name and company registration details. A license reference alone may not provide enough information to define the business to investigate.
